Why?

We were youths once, and we know how important it is to have space to try, grow, and be heard. Through these programmes, we hope every young person can experience the connection with animals and the sense of care it brings.
These programmes also aim to give young people the chance to shape ideas, build confidence, and run their own projects - for youth, by youth, and one day - for all, by youth.

"Our task must be to free ourselves … by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty." - Albert Einstein

    Hall/Faculty Visits

  • Our faculty visits bring CHAC to schools, hospitals, and community centers to provide a unique and heartwarming experience for participants of all ages and abilities. These visits offer a refreshing break from routine and a chance for individuals to experience the joy and healing power that animals bring into our lives.
  • During these visits, we bring in our animals to offer joy, comfort, and companionship through casual interactions. With no structured format, these visits allow individuals to engage and bond with our animals in a relaxed and informal setting.

    Train-the-trainer

  • Our "Train-the-trainer" program equips youths to run sessions for their peers and other groups, including individuals with diverse abilities and seniors. The training covers both theory and practical application, preparing youth leaders to design and facilitate safe, meaningful activities with animals.
  • Target Group: Student leaders, Student-led groups, Service learning or Volunteer Clubs.
  • Youths take part in a training session where they learn the basics of animal-assisted activities. They practice how to plan and lead safe, meaningful sessions for peers, individuals with diverse abilities, and seniors. With both theory and hands-on practice, they gain the skills to confidently run activities in their own groups or communities.

    Design to Deliver

  • Our Design to Deliver program is created for youths. We either design customised sessions based on your goals, or guide students to design their own program, which we then help bring to life. This approach gives youth ownership of the learning while ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience.
  • How it Works: First, we meet with your team to understand your objectives. Based on this, our facilitators create a customised plan, or support students in designing one themselves. Once the plan is ready, we deliver the sessions, combining both structured guidance and hands-on activities with animals.
